If you are on holiday in Portugal, or live here, then get yourselves down to Tavira, Algarve for the fifth Seafood festival. This is one of the most authentic towns in the region and has its own small boat fishing fleet that supplies the town with a constant supply of fish and shellfish.
Various restaurants in Tavira, Cabanas and Santa Luzia are taking part and have created special menus for the festival which is on until the 25th of May.

Top Tip
If you have never been to Santa Luzia then head for this town for this event, In my opinion it is one of the few remaining gems of seaside Algarve.
