As you can see the Algarveans theatre group are playing in Lagoa at 20.00 tomorrow night (Friday 13th) and at 17.00 on Saturday. So, if you fancy something a little different this could well fit the bill. Break a leg.
Be entertained by the King's and Queens of England. Learn about their passions, foibles and their downfall. Based on extracts from various chronicles, letters and Samuel Pepys diaries, many stories will unfold. From the 1st to the 19th century the entertainment will amuse and move you. The stories will be accompanied by music from the period, played by John Dalton on harp and songs from the era with Margan Meiklem's choral group and the International Choir of Aljezur featuring the well known soprano Birgit Wegemann. This summer production is presented by the Algarveans, directed by David Butler-Cole at Lagoa Auditorium. Tickets €10 for adults and €5 for children. Tel: 282 789 608 or 966 507 308.
